General Job Description | This is a professional position responsible for assisting in providing comprehensive academic advising and support service programs to assigned student-athletes. Responsible for coordinating and monitoring student-athletes’ degree progress and NCAA academic eligibility; assigning and verifying study hall hours and coordinating tutorial sessions; conducting proactive mentoring with identified at-risk student-athletes; and assisting with recruitment of prospective student-athletes. Supervises assigned student staff. Works under general supervision, with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Reports to the Associate Athletic Director of Student-Athlete Services. |

Required Education | Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required. |
Required Experience and Training | Two years of related experience is required. |
Preferred Qualifications | Experience in intercollegiate athletic academic support, student services, or instruction is preferred. Academic advising experience is strongly preferred. |
Special Conditions for Eligibility | This is a security-sensitive position subject to criminal record check. This is an IT-sensitive position subject to the Computer and Network Security policy. |
