General Job Description | This is an administrative position responsible for assisting the Development Office in daily operations by performing administrative support duties combined with entry-level development work. Responsible for assisting with coordination of special events and research on prospective donors and performing a wide variety of administrative activities. Works under general supervision, with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Reports to the Associate Vice President of University Advancement. |

Required Education | High school diploma or equivalent is required. |
Required Experience and Training | Five years of related experience is required. Experience in development/fundraising or a directly related field is required. Experience in general office practices and procedures is required. Experience in the use of computer applications is required. Candidates who do not meet the experience requirement but have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field may also be considered on a basis set forth by the Department of Human Resources. |
Preferred Qualifications | Some college coursework in accounting, business, or a related field is preferred. |
Special Conditions for Eligibility | This is a security-sensitive position subject to criminal record check. This is an IT-sensitive position subject to the Computer and Network Security policy. |
